Weiyuan Hardware specializes in the design, manufacturing, stamping, aluminum die-casting, and automotive mold parts processing in the hardware mold industry. Its main product lines include hardware, stamped, and die-cast parts for household appliances, chassis and casings, and automotive components. Its primary clients consist of BYD, Toyota, Midea, Toshiba, and Flextronics. With an immense scale and robust strength, the company set up manufacturing plants in Yiyang, Hunan, and Anhui.
Weiyuan Hardware's original air compressor station consumed about 24.5 million m³ of air per year. With an electricity rate of 0.7 yuan/kWh, Airboss measured an original gas-to-power ratio of 0.158 kWh/m³. After constructing Airboss’ intelligent air compressor station, the operating gas-to-power ratio was 0.102 kWh/m³, leading to annual electricity cost savings of about 960,000 yuan, with the energy saved exceeding 35%. The company saved on the investment and maintenance costs of the compressed air system equipment, labor management costs, and the costs associated with increased energy consumption.
