An oil-air separator element is the key component that determines the compressed air quality of an air compressor. A high-quality oil-air separator element not only ensures the efficient operation of the air compressor but also has a long service life of up to thousands of hours.
• Low pressure drop and energy-efficient
• Long service life
• Specially customized composite fiber filter media
• Low fuel consumption
• Reliable and stable in use
• Oil-air separator elements applied in high/low-pressure conditions can be customized.
• Small-sized high-flow foldable oil-air separator elements can be customized.Product details
The compressed air coming out of a compressor fitting carries oil drops of all sizes. While large-sized oil drops can be easily separated when they flow through an oil-air separator, small-sized oil drops (i.e., suspended oil particles with diameters below 1μm) must pass through a micron-order glass fiber filter layer of the oil-air separator element. Under the diffusion effects of this filter layer, oil particles can be directly intercepted by filter media. Under actions of relevant mechanisms such as inertial impaction and coagulation, suspended oil particles in the compressed air rapidly coalesce into large-sized oil drops. Under gravity, the oil accumulates at the bottom of the oil-air separator element and flows via an oil return pipe inlet at the bottom back to the machine head lubricating oil system. In this way, more purified and oil-free compressed air can be discharged from the air compressor. Solid particles in the compressed air stay at the filter layer when they pass through the oil-air separator element. Consequently, the differential pressure of the oil-air separator element increases constantly. As the service time of such oil-air separator elements is extended, those with differential pressure in a range of 0.08~0.1Mpa must be changed. Otherwise, the operating cost of the air compressor may be raised.
Advantages & features
• High separation efficiency
AIRBOSS adopts the most advanced technology and high-quality filter media to design oil-air separator elements. We strive to improve oil-air separation efficiency and keep the compressed air clean in this way.
• Low pressure drop
Compressed air can be more expensive than other energy. The cost of compressed air largely depends on the energy cost of the air compressor. A high pressure drop means high power consumption. Considering this, AIRBOSS oil-air separators can keep the pressure drop low during their service life.
• A riveted structure
Outer mesh sheets are designed with a riveted structure. This is an advanced environment-friendly electroless plating process. In addition to the high keying strength of their joints, these products have other superiorities such as high production efficiency and attractive appearance.
• A helical framework
The supporting framework of the middle mesh has a helical structure with high compressive strength, which boosts the overall structural stability of our products. The maximum tolerated differential pressure reaches 0.5Mpa.
• Sealing
AIRBOSS uses high-grade sealing gaskets to realize reliable sealing among the end cap, the oil-air separator, and the oil-air bucket.
• Static conductive
AIRBOSS oil-air separators have passed 100% electrical conductivity tests before delivery. Ground connection of such separators with compressors can be achieved via flanges or sealing elements to prevent malfunction triggered by electrostatic discharge.

Application description
Rebar is the common name for hot rolled ribbed steel bars. The grade of ordinary hot-rolled steel bar is composed of HRB and the minimum yield point of the grade. H, R, and B are the first letters of the three words Hotrolled, Ribbed, and Bars respectively. Hot-rolled ribbed steel bars are divided into three grades: Grade II HRB335 (the old grade is 20MnSi), Grade III HRB400 (the old grades are 20MnSiV, 20MnSiNb, 20Mnti), and Grade IV HRB500.
